HOW TO SHOP
Shopping online with UMI & CO. is simple and secure.
To make a purchase follow these easy steps:

•  Select an item by clicking on a category heading on the navigation bar and adding items to your shopping basket

•  You can keep an eye on the total number of items in your basket as is constantly on your screen.

•  When you have finished shopping go to 'CHECKOUT'

•  To delete an item from your basket click on the 'DELETE' button

•  To resume shopping after viewing your basket, click the 'CONTINUE SHOPPING' button. Be aware that an item in your basket can still be purchased by another customer

•  Proceed to the checkout to finalise your purchases and follow the instructions.

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product care
The unique vintage pieces in the collection have been carefully selected and sourced from around the world. As the term suggests many items are old and have been used but we feel this adds to their appeal and charm. All items have been reconditioned and are now in excellent condition.

Product colour
Every effort has been made to show colours accurately.
However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction and varying computer platforms we cannot guarantee actual colour representations.

Product sizing
As sizes differ so greatly we have standardised sizes to XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, JCB cards and UK cheque.

To pay by UK cheque simply cut and paste product information along with the quantity into an  e-mail and send to orders@umiandco.com. A confirmation email will be sent to you and the item will be reserved for 3 working days.  Goods will be sent out once the cheque has been received and funds have been cleared.

All prices in UK Pounds Sterling include VAT. Prices in other currencies are approximate. The final price for overseas customers will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction.

POSTAGE & DELIVERY
The following table shows our delivery costs irrespective of the size and weight of order:

• UK - FREE
• Europe £6.50
• Rest of the world £9.50

We are pleased to offer free European and international delivery for purchases over £250.

The purchase cost is defined as the total value of the order less postage.

Items will be dispatched within 3 working days. UMI & CO. insures each purchase during the time it is in transit and delivered to you. You will be asked to sign for goods delivered at which point responsibility passes to you.

PRICING TAX AND DUTY
Please note that all shipments outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly exchange the item or refund your money within 14 days. This does not affect your statutory rights. Should you wish to return the item(s) for any reason, the following conditions apply:

•  Goods should be returned in their original packaging with all original labelling attached. If an item is sold as new we will not accept it if there is any indication that it has been used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser.

•  Refunds are made within 30 days and credited to the card used to make the purchase. This includes sales taxes for all EU country shipments but excludes delivery charges, duty for non-EC territories (where applicable) and recovery costs. Refunds of international customs duties and sales taxes are excluded on shipments outside the European Community (EU).

•  We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. We recommend that you send by registered post and retain proof of posting.
